Ellie Shoja is an award-winning writer, producer, and podcast host.
As a person with a violent and unconventional childhood who lived on three continents and spoke five languages before the age of 15, Ellie’s personal story is a riveting tale of perseverance in the face of adversity. From Turkey to Germany to Iran to the United States, the stabilizing through-line in her life has always been her love of story. Her innate understanding of storytelling and fascination with the human condition are at the root of Ellie's love for bringing unique stories to life.
A natural leader, Ellie cares deeply about providing the best work environment that will allow her exceptionally talented team to do their best work.
When Ellie is not writing and producing, she co-hosts the Unleash Your Peace podcast, runs the personal transformation company Peace Unleashed, shares love notes on Instagram, and paints murals.
Ellie is fluent in English, German, and Farsi.

tamara de kauwe - head of production
Tamara de Kauwe is no stranger to film and television production — both in front and behind the camera. A graduate of Theatre Arts from the University of New England in NSW, Australia and TAFTA, a prestigious acting school in Melbourne, Australia, Tamara landed her first recurring roles on City Homicide and Canal Road (both successful TV series in Australia) while she was still in school.
Her bubbly and infectious personality lead her into Hosting as she joined the lifestyle show Lifefunktv. Within 2 months she was also Producing the show.
Since moving to Los Angeles in 2009, Tamara has produced, acted in and/or hosted independent films, commercials, industrial educational videos, fashion shows, lifestyle programming, Zumba instructional videos, and red carpet events, including Season 2 of the lifestyle series “This is LA” airing on CBS KCAL.
Tamara joined the Embold Media team as Head of Production in 2016.
